Open the Gate of Burley Rails Cottage and you are on one of the hundreds of well-maintained gravel tracks that crisscross the Forest and which are ideally suited to carriage driving. From Burley Rails you can drive for miles through shady inclosures or out on the open Forest, with nothing more than minor byways to cross. There are several Forest pubs within a short drive where you and your horse can be assured of a warm welcome.
For our four legged guests there are two, dry and airy loose boxes and in the stable yard there is adequate, covered storage for traps and carriages and a tack room is provided for your use. Clean, straw beds are provided within the cost and any specified foodstuff can be provided, subject to adequate notice being given.
